Superb Sayote Recipe
A simple yet tasty recipe is well-known to Filipino families. This viand can give you a full appetite without hurting your budget and pocket.
- 1 lb Chayote cut into strips
- 1 pc Onion diced
- 4 cloves Garlic crushed
- 1/2 cup Ground pork
- 1 tbsp Cooking oil
- 1 tsp Fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1 cup Water
Heat the cooking oil in a pan.
Saute garlic until it turns brown. Then add the onion and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Put-in ground pork then season with salt and pepper. Stir well until the pork are cook.
Pour 1 cup of water then cover the pan and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add the chayote and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve while hot!
