- 1 1/2 Cups Mung Beans
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1/2 lb Ground Pork
- 2 Cups Bittergourd leaves
- 3 Pieces Tomato Medium size, chopped
- 1 Piece Onion Medium size, chopped
- 5-8 Pieces Shrimp Medium size, optional
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 24 Ounces Water
- 1/2 Cup Crushed Pork Rinds (chicharon)
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Pieces Smoked Fish
In a pot, boil the green soy for 30 minutes or until it softens. Set aside.
Sauté garlic until golden brown and add onions and tomatoes. Stir until it crushes.
Put the pork and shrimp. Then add the salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
After that, you can put the fish sauce, add water, and put lemongrass. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add boiled green soy and then stir it carefully for 5 minutes, until it boils.
Lower the heat and add bitter gourd leaves. Then, simmer it for another 2 minutes and turn off the fire.
Afterward, you can now serve it. You can also put some herbs like Kinchay as a garnish or crushed Chicharon on top.
