Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin thinly sliced and cut into serving pieces
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Oyster sauce
  • 1 cup Mushroom sliced thinly
  • ½ teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 pc Onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch melted

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a cooking pot.
  • Saute garlic and onion for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Then add the beef, season it with soy sauce and black pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in 3 cups of water and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Add the remaining cups of water and simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Wait until meat is tender. Add water if necessary.
  • Then pour-in the oyster sauce and mushroom. Add the diluted cornstarch into the pot while gently stirring.
  • Transfer onto a serving plate. Eat while hot!
