Best Liver Steak Recipe

Liver Steak is marinated fried liver in soy sauce, lemon, and onion sauce. The method of cooking this dish is similar to that of Bistek tagalog.

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs White Onion sliced thinly
  • ½ cup Calamansi
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Crushed Black Pepper
  • 1 lb Pork liver
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine pork liver, calamansi, black pepper and soy sauce. Marinate for 1 hour. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry the liver until color turns golden brown.
  • On the same pan with the remaining oil, sauté garlic. Add the fried liver, cornstarch, and pour in the marinade sauce.
  • Put the onions in the pan. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve while hot!
