1pcLengua ox tongue
1pcOniondiced
½teaspoonBlack Pepper
1tablespoonSoy sauce
3clovesGarlicminced
½cupCooking Oil
¾cupNestle Cream
2pcsCalamansiextracted
¼cupCheesegrated
4cupsWater
½cupMushroom button
Instructions
Marinate the ox tongue in soy sauce, black pepper, and calamansi extract in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Set aside.
Heat oil in a cooking pan. Fry the marinated tongue until brown. Then remove some oil from the pan.
On the same pan, saute garlic and onion until cooked. Then put-in the fried tongue and pour in water. Let it boil for about 2 hours or until the tongue softened.Note: Add water if needed.
Add the mushroom button and nestle cream. Stir and cover for 5 minutes. Then add the grated cheese on top.
